To set an Exclusion, open Norton AntiVirus (click on the Norton AV icon on the desktop toolbar)
After Norton AV is open, click on Options on the left side, then choose Norton AntiVirus (for Norton AV 2008), Norton Internet Security (for Norton Internet Suite)
.
Then click on Exclusions on the left side.
Once Exclusions is open, click on New, under "Which disks, folders, or files to exclude from risk scanning"
For XP, type in C:\Program Files\Phantom EFX
For Vista users, C:\Users\Public\Phantom EFX in the Add Item box, or click on the Folder Icon to Browse for Folder of your Phantom EFX directory.
Click OK
Do the same for under "Which disks, folders, or files to exclude from Auto-Protect scanning"
Click on Apply, then click OK
Close Norton AntiVirus Protection Center.

Okay, I can't use the exclusion as I stated in earlier post. However, I turned Norton off for an hour. While it was off I got online, walked, chatted, played slots everytihng was fine till Norton came back on an hour later. When, It did I was imediatly booted out of casino. I help this helps.

You may need to browse for the Phantom directory in order to exclude it. To the right of the area where you would but the path of the directory, there should be an icon that looks like a folder. Click on that and it will open up another box with a directory tree. Click on the + next to computer, and the same for programs, and then find where you see Phantom EFX and click on that to highlight and press the ok button.
You should have two exclusion areas one for which to exclude from risk scanning and one to exclude from auto-protect scanning. I added this to both areas.
The other thing you might want to do is go to the Firewall section and then to Program Rules. There should be several entries there regarding Phantom EFX (for the launcher etc.). Scroll through this list and find all that reference Phantom and set it from Custom to Allow. In particular, see if the Casino083D file is listed and that is says to Allow. If any of the Phantom entries are under Custom Norton won't let them through.

Is there supposed to be a space between Phantom and EFX or does it matter?

We are working on it msgal. It's proving hard to fix and hard to replicate so it is taking longer than expected.

I am trying to play offline. I just got my Blackbeards Revenge and loaded it up. I keep getting a box that comes up saying "you have encountered a problem...the program will close" I cant get it to stop. I have unblocked the game on security sites. I am not computer savvy enough to know what else to do. I have removed and reloaded it just in case I had other issues and loaded patches from this site. I have XP
