are you people totally off the deep end - i activated all my powers to do a quest - i completed the quest but my bonus power wasn't used - when i went to cash out of the game a little box informed me i would forfeit my bonus power if i left the game - who's bright idea was this - i just always went and did another quest and hoped my bonus power would be used in that one - now i either forfeit or have to keep playing a game i completed to use the bonus power - wow that means i earn more of the dreaded cash that you don't want us to have - you are really making friends with these changes - NOT:mad:

Yes, the powers really need to stay active if we exit the slot when there is still time left on them; it's bad enough we have to put up with having less powers as it is, we shouldn't have to lose what little we have just because we change slots!

That "Use it or Loose it" applies to all the powers. If you have 2 minutes of Hyper Spins and Line Bet and you alctivate them tward the end of a quest and you manage to complete the quest in 30 seconds and that takes you out of the quest, you loose the remaining 1 & 1/2 minutes of the use of you "New" powers. Before the big update you could move onto another quest and use you powers on a 2nd or even a 3rd quest.

Not so with our NEW, Wonderfull, Easier to Understad powers that we were to be fully compensated for all our work to get them to a level where we could pass most of the quests where they were mandatory to get passed. So don't worry, they will all be fixed "Soon"!! ! ! !

Cathie,

I don't see a reply from Phantom here so I was wondering if someone may have replied to you privately or perhaps you asked the same question in the casino and received an answer there. If this is the case could you let us know. If a player has time left on his/her powers, it seems logical that this should carry over to the next quest. Why would a player want to continue playing a quest that has been completed? ---- to avoid forfeiting powers by wasting them on the finished quest?? This is ridiculous and, hopefully, it is a mistake or an oversight. :( Perhaps you have received a response but, if not, maybe a representative from Phantom will take note of this thread and reply.

Thank you.

The powers remaining active when you left a slot was never supposed to be the norm. That is why this was changed in the last update. They were always supposed to quit once you left a slot.

Leaving them active made it possible for them to stick on, and if a player entered a tournament they might be active. Therefore we set them the way they were supposed to be all along.

This is also part of our efforts to insure our special tournaments are fair to everyone when we start giving away big ticket items.

i beg to disagree - the powers never have worked in any tournamnets - so i dont believe what you are saying - i think they are broken now and we are just being fed a line. sorry but that is just me opinion

Thank you for the reply Linda. However......

If this were the case, why are we just being told this now after all of these months of play time? When a power was activated it was supposed to last a specified amount of time and when the player exited the slot the power would be paused. Never had access to powers in trnys. If player went back to a slot (non tournament) powers would become activated again. We were never told that the powers were supposed to function any differently than this. I played in many trnys when I had time remaining on powers but I was unable to access and use these powers. However when I returned to a slot for non trny play those powers would be reactivated. Don't know if the way the powers used to work is broken or if someone decided to just change the way they worked so that one could only have access to those powers with one slot machine rather than allowing a player to use leftover time on another slot for regular play or quest play.

By the way, is there a reason that we still can not see the scores posted at the end of a tourney? This has been requested many times because we are interested in seeing how the scores compare and what the winning scores were. There is nothing wrong with this. It was this way in Vegas and it was the same here at one time.

I believe that if I earn or pay for a power then I should be able to use that power until it is finished with. Two minutes of hyper spins should not be 30 seconds and then they are done with. When I earn a bonus at work through diligence and hard work my boss doesn't get to take it back in part or in whole. The same should apply here. After all, we are paying for and earning the darn things twice, aren't we.

I used my hyperspin on one of the rat quests and got it within 30 seconds but lost the time left on the power. That is not fair at all. It is hard enough to upgrade our powers let alone lose the unused time. I really think that should be fixed!!!!!!

Once I found out we couldn't leave the slot we were playing with powers, I said fine, I'll stay here to finish using them. Lo and behold, I went to change the denomination of the slot (I didn't leave it) and that also deactivated my powers--why is that?

More than likely your powers are good on a higher denomination. Cost lots to get them back where they were.

Did you mean to say "aren't good at higher denominations" rather than "are good"? Thank you jivebunny for asking the question and letha for the response (though just a lil typing mistake I think :) ) . Makes sense that if you have power/s turned on and you go to another denomination that power/s are not set for yet it wouldn't work. :(
