windows 7 treasures of the far east

Here is my error message after loading and attempting to launch treasures of the far east on windows 7

Failed to create Direct3D9Device:Invalid Call

Can you please advise/assist? Also, I would like to load some of the others but want to make sure I will be able to play them with windows 7 - bonus mania, mystic forest, etc.

I Have windows 7 and have had no problems with live or vegas online games they play fine one thing You should do with windows 7 is shut off your user account control ads that will stop some programs from working properly go to control panel, then click user
accounts and family safty then user account then change user account control slide it all the way off it will tell you not recommended ignore it then ok hope this helps after that you may have to uninstall and re install the game good luck

Thanks for your response, i did get Far East working, however, now I'm stuck playing "live" I just downloaded it for the first time today, went on the walking tour of the casino with the guide, logged out to fix dinner, signed back in got to my avatar hit play, and it froze on "loading" then said "not responding". It took over an hour to load, should I try to uninstall and re-install? or do you have any other suggestions.Thanks again for your response. I am using windows 7.
