Launcher problems

Just started having a problem with my launcher. Have been playing for months and have had no problem. Downloaded two new slots, what's your sign, and rock star, now i can't open any of my games, deleted both games, and still can't open any slot games. Went to phantom efx and downloaded all available patches, still no luck. Keep getting this error

an exception has occured.

Ogreexception(3:rendering apiexception):failed to create direct3d9device:invalid call in d3d9render window::created3dresources at.. \src\ogred3d9renderwindow.cpp(line596)

can anyone help me!!!!

First off try checking the box on the Launcher titled "Play OpenGL Mode". See if that gets you in the game. The error you are getting is trying to render the graphics using Direct3D Mode, and it is saying that your video card can't render in that mode.
