Hi you get to meet new friends and also play team tourneys against other guilds, plus when our guild wins , we all get bonus powers which help members progress, we also set guild solos for members in the guild to play. its a lot of fun. I am a leader of several guilds in live and vegas casino. if you want to try it out I am from Spinners and Winners, New Generation, The Winners Circle, Champions of the World, you are most welcome to have fun with friends and family.. regards Allan

Tristen its well worth joining a Guild, and after you do if you don't like it you can always try another.

I held out for 9 months in VEGAS before I joined a guild and in retrospect wish I had joined on day 1. I did join on Day 1 in Live for GvG. IMHO GvG tournaments keep the game fun and fresh even if you're spinning the same slots.

Yup - Guilds are fun and friendly - when I started in live I was invited into Forces of Nature guild. I had no idea what I was doing online and met some great new friends who are now family. We have fun chatting, playing solo tournaments in the guild and playing intra guild tournaments which are fantastic to play. If you want to join a guild they are well worth it - fun places to be, fantastic friends, and more powers to you when you win the intra guild tournaments.
Our guild is very welcoming and friendly and full of fun :D

You soon feel like your guild friends are your extended family. I would be lost without each and every one of them. Also, if you join the right guild, your officers and leader and many of your guild mates will help you to better understand the game.

In addition to all bonuses already mentioned, you can also get money from your guild. "Will work for gold" LOL

Tristen ... the reasons are many. My favorite is that you have a built in "family" to talk to, compete together and to help you when you need it. There's many to choose from - try one out if you haven't already.
Hi Philly! If you really are from Philly, I'll be heading your way Saturday. Please prepare nice weather! LOL You would not see a guild chatting unless you are in a guild. Then you be able to see members chatting together. If you are looking for a chatty guild, look me up in LIVE and I'll be happy to send you an invite. We LOVE it when peeps like to talk and have a lot of members willing and ready to asnswer questions. Have fun and Good Luck!

Being a shy personality off the game I really underestimated how much I was going to like the guilds once the guild features were added to Live. Now I play more, have more fun playing, and play a few avatars. You really feel a sense of community in a good guild, and it feels rewarding to help your "team" with the guild tournaments. It also gives you more opportunities to do the things you enjoy. When I sign up for a guild poker tournament they always have enough players, because of the communication and sense of team spirit (even if it's inter-guild not gvg you still get that feeling for participating). When I sign up for poker on the whole Live community it's hit or miss and sometimes I have to wait hours. I seem to also enjoy the chat more in the guild than on the world channel, maybe it's that sense of comeraderie again. But I definitely recommend trying a guild.
