'Evening.

Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with Windows Vista.

When I play American Adventure, the game will freeze if I unplug my laptop's power cord (and run on battery). The game will continue play once the laptop has been plugged in again (almost as if it's just paused).

The same thing will happen if the game is started while the laptop is not plugged in: as soon as the loading screen finishes and the slot selection screen appears, the game will freeze until the laptop is plugged in.

This is due to your processor stepping down it's processing power to save battery life. On some processors it's called Stepdown, on other's there's another name. I would contact your computer manufactorer about this, they will need to turn this feature off in windows or in bios.
